Please note the practice operates an extended hours scheme which allows patients to pre-book appointments from 07:30a - 08:00 and from 18:30 - 19:30 on a Tuesday
These are pre-bookable only and not available on the day.
The phone lines are open from 08:00 every day.
When We Are Closed
Every weekday there is a doctor on call to deal with emergencies. Out of hours, between 6:30pm and 8:00am and at weekends patients can speak to NHS Direct or the OOH deputising service on 0845 6001231.
Alternatively you can call the normal surgery number – 251133 and select either NHS Direct or the deputising service. You will be connected without needing to redial. Only use this service in an emergency.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct Wales (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
You should only leave the house for 1 of 4 reasons:
shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible
one form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle – alone or with members of your household
any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home
Important - These 4 reasons are exceptions – even when doing these activities, you should be minimising time spent outside of the home and ensuring you are 2 metres apart from anyone outside of your household.
